Minecraft won't run after game pass expired

Might be some missing pieces here that may need to be clarified and given the age of this post, even if there are no replies from OP I will accept any from users having additional issues.

After Game Pass Expired:

• Did you purchase the games you wanted to play that you found from game pass?
  
• Was it just Game Pass or was it Game Pass Ultimate?
  
• What version of Minecraft?
  
• Have you migrated?
  

The reason I ask, if you were playing Minecraft because of Game Pass and then it expired you won't have access to the game because you do not own it. You would need to purchase Minecraft to access the game. It matters if it is Java Edition or Bedrock because the steps to rectify each one can be different,

Unfortunately with the game pass once you have been a member / used a trial

It won't allow you to use another after expired, some places won't warn you of this so I'm sorry to hear about this

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you are having an issue with Minecraft. Currently if you have a game pass ultimate subscription, Minecraft is on game pass. Is it possible your subscription is expired? Try

power cycle the console and see if able to after that.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have issue with access to Minecraft. Is it possible the subscription you had and it expired was Ultimate game pass? As this subscription includes gold, and game pass. As Minecraft is on the game pass
subscription. Then when you renewed Xbox live gold, you no longer have game pass so unable to access the game. You can check subscriptions and see if the ultimate is there and when it expired.
