    Hello! Today I went to play Minecraft on my switch, and it said it had to update (the 1.19.70 update) so I did that. Then after it had updated it would not load. It would get to exactly 66% on the loading screen that says Minecraft, and nothing would happen. I closed the game, restarted my switch many times, and the same thing would happen. I tried clearing the cache, and that did nothing. Then I tried making a new user profile on the switch, and as soon as I opened Minecraft it worked on this new profile. Funnily enough, the exact same thing is happening to my girlfriend on her switch after the update. Her actual profile won’t load Minecraft, but a different one on her switch will. I have a Nintendo online subscription and I’d really rather not delete my profile and move to another one because it would be a huge pain in the ***. I’ve seen that other people have had this same issue, but no one has said that there’s a way to resolve it at all. If anyone knows anything about this or has any suggestions, I’m all ears. Thanks!

    Thank you for the suggestion! I wasn’t sure where to make a bug report. It seems like a few other people have already reported the same issue so hopefully it gets resolved soon!

    Not helpful sorry but I’ve the very same issue! Deleted software, did nothing still stuck on 66%. If you figure it out I’m keen to know how! It’s my daughters switch she went off to school very sad this morning!

    There are many reasons for why this is happening, one reason that comes to mind is that there is corrupted save data: It's possible that the save data for your Minecraft game on your main profile has become corrupted, preventing the game from loading. Try deleting the saved data for Minecraft on your main profile and start the game again.

    I’ve already deleted the save data and it did not do the issue unfortunately, but thank you for the suggestion! Upon further research it would appear that many many switch players are having this issue after the update, which is about what I expected.
