Minecraft wont let me play online

My Minecraft says that i cant play online, however i cannot change my settings because it says im in a family group, even though none of my family has an account. there could be no possible person in this household who is in the family group, and no one else could have joined because i dont even own a xbox. please help

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then use the organizer account so sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this screenshot:

thanks, this let me log in but i can't find the online safety tab? I want to join a realm in minecraft but it wont let me.

I have fixed the problem thank you for your suggestions. If this happens to you try the suggestions above than try restoreing to factory settings.

I've tried redownloading minecraft it did not work.

Im redownloading Minecraft, Ill post again when its done. It is a download. Also it wont let me send party invites to anyone. When i check my muiltplayer connection it does not work. But when i check my network connection it says theres a problem on there
side. Ive tried all the steps. Could it be an internal problem with my xbox.
