Minecraft won't allow me to get my own username/account back after migration.

I know there are many posts are in a similar vein as to this one, but my attempt to just get direct support has only redirected to here, and all the answers have just been 'reach out to support'.

I'm 98% positive I had migrated my account correctly before the period ended, despite its broken state and frustrating experience with support through there. I have access to my stuff/able to download launchers just fine without having to pay so I know it's recognizing it. My problem is that it requires me to set a username despite me already having an account/having migrated it, but when i go to set my original username it says its "already been taken."

I'd hate to lose all of my stuff paid ranks and servers I had especially since the account is pretty much a decade old, especially all my private ones because Microsoft and the migration process was an incredibly buggy mess. I am able to access it still through Mojang to prove the account is mine. How can I get my actual account/username despite having migrated? It almost feels as if the migration didn't actually do anything right.

Unfortunately the link you've provided has already been something I attempted to use, and was actually the thing that redirected me here. It was of little to no help. Unless I need to just, submit another one? I just feel that would just run me in circles is the thing.

It won't allow me to migrate my Mojang account. Maybe because I have never bought Minecraft java on it.

Yes, one of my Microsoft accounts DOES show up as owning the game. However it also has a "Profile Name" button under the Minecraft Java section on the My Games tab, and it tells me that my username is already taken when I enter the username I was using on my Java account before migration.
