minecraft windows disappeared

I owned minecraft windows 10 edition and tried to get java edition for free, but that didn't work, so i tried uninstalling windows edition and reinstalling but that lead to the edition reverting back into trial form, is there any way I can recover the paid version of windows 10 edition?

In this case, please completely uninstall all Minecraft versions you have on your computer and the Minecraft launcher. Then, restart your computer and please follow the steps below:

- Go to start > Search for PowerShell > Right click > Run as administrator. Type the following command and press enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

- Press Windows + R and type in "regedit". Press enter.

- Search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services

- Delete the folders "GamingServices", "GamingServices.net" (if they're still there).

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Repair, then Reset.

- Press Windows + R. Type TEMP and press enter. Delete all the files inside this folder. Repeat this step by typing %TEMP% and Prefetch. Delete everything on both folders too.

- Press Windows + R. Type WSRESET and press enter.

- Click on Start > Search for Credential manager > Windows credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove. Also, remove all the XblGrts and XboxLive credentials.

- Delete Accounts and Cache folders at:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

- Restart your computer. Run Powershell as administrator and run the following commands (one at a time):

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

- Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

- Restart your computer one more time. Make sure you are signed on the Microsoft store with the correct account. Open the Xbox app and sign in with the same account as the Microsoft store.

Open the Xbox app and search for Minecraft for Windows. See if you are able to install it and it is shown as Owned. Try to play it and let me know how it goes.

it still doesn't work right now it says not playable on device.

In this case, please uninstall the current Minecraft Launcher you have on your computer. Restart your computer, go to the Minecraft website and download the Windows 7/8 launcher. Try playing the game using it.

Make sure you sign in with the correct Microsoft Account used for the Migration.

You can also try to run it on compatibility mode:

Right-click the Minecraft Launcher > Click Properties > Go to Compatibility tab > Check Run this program in compatibility mode for > Select Windows 7/8.
