Minecraft windows 7 edition, could not connect to the internet when sign in

Is this a question? If you have to buy it again, it's probably more like $27.90 than $279. You shouldn't have to buy it again. The problem I encountered is that the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft was not able to connect to the Internet for some reason. Because it could not connect to the Internet, the account I purchased could not be associated with my login credentials. The solution for me, was to download and use the Windows 7/8 launcher instead of the Windows 10 launcher. For whatever reason, that version of the launcher was able to connect to the Internet, and therefore to verify and associate my previously purchased account.

Minecraft pocket edition can only be connected to a Xbox when on the same internet connection as the console

To play minecraft on windows 7 you will need to have the Java edition of the game.

I got it fixed i had to restart my router and delete my .minecraft folder and the reinstall the windows 7/8 edition of minecraft
