    I cannot join my friend on windows 10 minecraft.

    My windows 10 minecraft is working fine until I want to join my friend, I go to friends and try to join though it says "Generating World"

    it just goes to unable to connect to work, can someone help?

    Hello LeoShaddz!

    Thank you very much for bringing this issue to our attention. There are two solutions available for this issue. The first solution is to make sure the NAT Type on the Xbox One is set to Open, and there is a 100% connection to Xbox Live. Our

    NAT error article     contains all the solutions for that scenario. Also,
    Mojang support     will have more details about being unable to connect to other player's world.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend first trying to reboot your network hardware. If that doesn't work try removing each other as friend then adding each other back as friend. Try these and let us know.

    Thank you for your response. There are a few troubleshooting fixes you and your friend my try. For starters, please visit: Minecraft Multiplayer Connectivity Issues. Please test everything listed in the article including NAT type connectivity and privacy/multiplayer settings. If you are still unable to connect with each other, please contact Mojang Support directly with details regarding the troubleshooting you have attempted so far.

    Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. I understand that your friend is unable to join your world while playing Minecraft. There are a few things to unload here before we can attempt to help you. Are you trying to play through a server on Minecraft Realms with your friend or are you trying to play regular multiplayer? Are you able to play other games with your friend online? Is your friend receiving an error code when they attempt to join the game?
