    Trouble downloading Minecraft Windows 10 version.

    I have trouble with getting the Minecraft windows 10 version. I already have miecraft, and recieved a gift code from mojang, but it says that I already used the code last year. The problem is that I dont have the windows 10 version on my computer, so I am
    wondering what happened, and how to get the windows 10 version of minecraft without paying for minecraft again?

    need help ASAP

    So today I got a pc and a big part of that was to be able to play minecraft with mods but after purchasing minecraft windows 10 I realized that there was two versions of minecraft, windows 10 and the pc/java editon. upon realizing this I found out that mods
    aren't compatible with windows 10. I'm honestly so sad and disappointed is there any way I can get the java editon free or get a refund? I'm not trying to buy minecraft for a second time. Minecraft Windows 10 Editon Redem code already resolved on an older Windows 10 version :( please help

    If you redeemed the code for Minecraft on your account, then you'd be able to redownload using the steps on

    this page     since the license for the game is tied to your account. Have you checked to see if those steps work? Is it possible that you could have redeemed the code on a different account?

    How to find my redeem code for minecraft windows 10 edition?

    The code you mean was for people that bought JAVA Minecraft on the Mojang website before October 2018. Buyers of the JAVA Version before that date would get a code that allows them to redeem Minecraft Windows 10 on the Windows 10 Store.

    Unfortunately, buyers of the Xbox One Minecraft "only" get the Xbox One Minecraft and nothing else. Only digital buyers of the older "Minecraft Xbox One Version" (With "Xbox One Version" in the game title) would later get the newer Bedrock Minecraft for
    Xbox One for free.

    So, if you bought Minecraft (without the "Xbox One Version" in the name) on your Xbox One, that's the only version you will get. There is no Windows 10 code.

    Unfortunatly that wont be possible. As the Windows 10 version is a different platform as the Xbox One. The code has been used already for the Windows 10 version.

    Minecraft is not part of the PlayAnywhere library. So you will need to purchase the game for Xbox.

    Minecraft is also available with Gamepass for Xbox One.

    Hi, i resolved the issue by simply downloading an older launcher version. Whatever that has been suggested here has not work at all and gave up on those already.

    For those with the same issue as me, just simply download the older versions of the minecraft launcher (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/alternative). (It runs on windows 10/11)

    xbox play anywhere on minecraft

    I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....
    There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

    On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

    As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

    However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.
