Minecraft windows 10 edition stuck in beta

I joined the Minecraft beta sometime ago but since wanted to play realms with friends. so left the beta through the insider hub. My xbox, phone and laptop have reverted back to the normal version but my PC is stuck in beta. I've tried uninstalling and installing,
clearing temp data that i can find but every time i install its back on beta! when i install through the store its starts downloading for a second then instantly installs. i know the files are at least a few hundred MB. my internet is fast but not that fast!
any help appreciated!

Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

Hey hamster157,

After leaving the beta from the Xbox Insider Hub and re-installing the game, it should have reverted back to it's original state.

I believe the best course of action would be to also submit a support ticket with

Mojang Support and also reach out to them on
Twitter as they have pretty good support on there too.

Try to delete that version and download the regular version of minecraft

very disappointing in the generic copy and paste answer. I may try the twitter and see if i have more luck

 

hey, this was the first thing i tried. I've deleted whatever data i can find. it does seem that every time i hit download its not downloading a fresh file and installs straight away. Its got a file cached somewhere, i just have no idea where so i can clear
it!

I believe their Twitter is a better place for support from what I've seen on Twitter. It will also allow you to expand on the issue and provide pictures if needed.
