    Minecraft Windows 10 black screen glitch


    For over a month now, I've had a problem with Minecraft Windows 10 Edition that halted me from playing it. Whenever I boot up the game , after I get the loading screen, the game is just a black screen. The music still plays, and I can still click on buttons
    if i click in the right spot, but I can't see anything. I think this started shortly after an update to the game. I looked for solutions on Google, but nothing worked for me. Is there anything else that can fix it, or do I have to reinstall the game? I'm not
    even sure if reinstalling would work, honestly.

    Try right-clicking on Minecraft Launcher Shortcut > Select Troubleshoot Compatibility > Try Recommended Settings > Test the program

    Windows 8 compatibility mode worked for me.

    I right-clicked on the shortcut, and I couldn't find ''Troubleshoot Compatibility''. I should've mentioned that the version I have is from the Microsoft Store. It's not the one you get off of the Mojang website, I think you're thinking of that.

    So basically, the way I fixed the problem was to disable "Battery Boost" in Geforce Experience. I don't necessarily like this because I would kind of like to save my battery, but I don't often game on a battery, so I'll just have to deal with it. Thank

    Hey, so I noticed that it only seemed to do the screen glitch when the laptop wasn't plugged in. I think that's because of how Geforce Experience enhances the gameplay when it's plugged in, and slows down the graphics card when it's not plugged in to save
    power(or at least that's how I think it works). I'll try and fix that, and I'll get back to you if it works or not. Thank you!
