    Minecraft wants me to rebuy skins that I already bought on xbox 360


    This is complete bs because I spent over $100 dollars on skin packs and texture packs like, skin pack 1 and 2. I also have the candy texture pack on xbox 360 but when I got my xbox one s with minecraft nothing transferred. I am using the same Microsoft account but it wants me to rebuy them, **** type of scam is this!?!?

    hey toxicsnake48

    is not a scam, what happens is that you can't share skins in Xbox 360 and Xbox one because is a different Minecraft version, I'm sorry for that but I hope this helps.

    the win10 and the xbox one version of minecraft are two different games, if you want to use it on pc you'll have to rebuy it.

    Minecraft has lost MC for Windows purchases on new PC

    I have tried all of those steps - no updates are available and my Windows OS is up to date.

    I have also tried uninstalling the Minecraft Launcher and reinstalling, and uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft.

    I have also tried logging out of the Xbox app and the launcher and logging in again.

    All other Xbox purchases and games work, the Minecraft Launcher will let me play the Java version of MC and Minecraft Dungeons but not Minecraft for Windows at all. Same error with it wanting me to sign in but I can't sign in it just takes me to the page to buy MC for Windows which I can't rebuy even if I want to because I have already bought it...

    If it says you already bought it then you did already

    It is going by your account purchase history

    You will have to have an xbox to download it to if you want to queue it since you already purchased it previously you cant rebuy it

    And no it was clearly stated on the e3 announcement if you dont have an xbox 360 then the only way to get the games is by webmarketplace
