Discus and support Minecraft Update stuck in a loop in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Currently on using win10 edition. I updated a couple of hours ago. I got the shiny 1.16 in the corner.     Minecraft Update stuck in a loop


    Currently on using win10 edition. I updated a couple of hours ago. I got the shiny 1.16 in the corner. I let my sister have a go at it. After a while. I start to go on it. I close it as I don’t think
    my friends will play. Later they wish to play. I open it back and for some reason it says 1.14. Now when I got the Microsoft store it keeps say hey there’s an updated. Downloads something. And then it back to updated. This keeps on happening. But nothing changes.
    Any help ?

    since your on a pc, I would rest your PC and see if that helps if that doesn't help look inside the Minecraft files if the update not there the file might be corrupted.

    a friend of mine had a similar issue however, a full reboot resolved the issue

    Yes I have done that man times. Has not worked at all.

    I don't believe i have messed around with that. I have checked the windows insider settings and it says get started. So i doubt that I am in it.

    I know it's the standard answer everyone gives, but have you tried restarting your PC and then booting up Minecraft again? I had a similar issue with Age of Empires but the update finally took after a restart.

    Another question I have is are you in the Minecraft beta? You might have to opt out of it if you are to get back to the current version that allows multiplayer.
