buy it on your account, then do the following

log into each profile on the pc, open the store, sign out of their name in the store and sign in with your account, go to your download history/library, down load minecraft, once done sign out of the store and back in with their name and rinse and repeat for each profile on the pc.

i have 5 kids and they all use my minecraft on there pc's.

no need to purchase 5 times

To play Minecraft on a Windows PC, you typically need to be logged into the Microsoft Store with the account that owns the game. This is due to the way Microsoft manages game licenses and user authentication.

However, if you have Minecraft through Xbox Game Pass, and your Windows 11 account has access to Game Pass, you can play Minecraft without switching accounts. Game Pass allows for family sharing, so as long as the account with Game Pass is set as the home account on your PC, all profiles on that PC can access its games.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this specific question concerning Minecraft: Story Mode episodes. As the Ambassadors have already mentioned, your best bet in getting Season 2 episodes is to purchase it via disc and then download the episodes
prior to June 25th, 2019. This is sadly due to the discontinuation of titles by the now defunct Tell Tale games.

We do not recommend purchasing the digital versions as the episodes were placed back onto our Marketplace so that those individuals who already owned the entitlement, via disc or previous digital purchase,
would be able to take advantage of downloading them in these final days. For a bit more information on what has happened, I recommend this other community thread for context:

rated E (Everyone) and may also offer him hours of fun with the bricks and such.

incorrect, i do this for my kids all the time

1. log into the kids account on the pc.

2. open the store and log out of the windows 10 store and log into it with your account.

3. go to download history and download minecraft (if already installed on the main profile this will be near enough instant.)

4. once done log out of the windows store and log out of windows, log back in to the kids account and he can then play minecraft all he wants.

I have 5 kids and they all use my minecraft purchase on their pcs with their own accounts. as long as they are a part of your microsoft family all is good.
