Minecraft social game play

What is with the social game play on minecraft? Most of my friends can't join me because according to the game we are not friends. We have hard reset our Consol's and the NATS are all good. I hear this is an issue others have had and it appears in the forums
going back 2 years. So why is this issue not fixed by bow? And is it related to the COD BO3 unable to join due to having too many in the party when its just two people trying to firm a lobby?

There was a time when the mods would move all of these posts to a single thread. Given the deluge of posts that are created on this same topic, I believe the mods finally threw up their hands and gave up.

Looking for other people to play minecraft with im not a serious player only recently getting into the game but i would like to play a survival/hunger games version of minecraft like ive seen on youtube. if anyone would be interested in this or is already
doing this and needs more people add me and il be happy to play.

My son and daughter are 10 and 8 and are looking for Minecraft friends as well. We are under tag . I monitor their gaming closely but think playing with new friends online is a good for building their social skills.

What fOOx said, Minecraft is huge. It's hard to miss it on Youtube. While older peps may not want to play the game, I think it's a smart idea for M to have acquired the game. Cert testing normally takes 2 weeks but for Xbox 1 Microsoft got cert testing done
in half that time. There must be some big peps at Microsoft who love the game too. Even my friends uncle and grand parents play it ;D

Sure Minecraft isn't just what Xbox is all about. But the game is huge and popular culture and social impact. In a major NZ newspaper, there was a Minecraft article which took up an entire newspaper page. I've seen peps in my city holding Minecraft balloons,
or dressed up in Minecraft costumes and masks. When a game has this high level social impact, it's like a strategic move for them to acquire the game.

As they grow, the more difficult aspects of Minecraft and the social elements can grow with them.
