    So i am on ps4 (yep i said i was on ps4) and im dealing with an issue with trying to join my buddy realm and he is on xbox. When i try to accept, it says i have to fix some settings. The problem is getting to the settings. I dont have a child account.
    I just need help doing this.

    I cannot access chat in multiplayer

    I logged off Minecraft, closed Minecraft, "blocked" the settings below, submitted, opened Minecraft, logged in, then again logged off, closed Minecraft, and "allowed" the settings below again and submitted. Still it doesn't work.

    Nice to meet you and I hope you are having a great day!

    I understand you need help with your Privacy settings.

    Please check if you can access them here:

    https://account.xbox.com/en-us/Settings?rtc=1&a...

    Please check if all your Privacy & Online safety settings are set to Allow/Everybody.

    Make sure you also toggle on the settings to be sure (Set to friends then back to Everybody) and submit changes.

    Just to confirm you've done this through the parent profile in charge of the family account? If you don't know how to set up a family account the link explaining how to do that is here

    And you've done all this as well?

    Go to account.xbox.com website. Log in under your account.

    Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

    on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

    click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

    click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

    Allow everything but "buy and download".

    Click save at the bottom!

    click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

    allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

    make sure you click save.
