    Minecraft saying it's in Demo mode?


    Got my son an Xbox One for Christmas, and Minecraft is by far his favorite game. After getting it set up, and doing all the updates, etc, I installed Minecraft (we have the disc, purchased at Best Buy). However, it's saying that it's in demo mode, and he
    can't save unless we buy the full version. I thought we did buy the full version...I certainly wouldn't have paid for a demo version!

    Can someone tell me what I need to do so that he can save his games, and how we can get him going on this? Thanks!

    if ps3 got new minecraft trophies...

    it came out today. tried the demo, kinda glitchy and i really didn't care for the controls but it's still minecraft.

    Fable III might just be free atm, quick, run!

    No news outlets are suggesting it's an extended demo. They are saying it's the full game?

    Because of the amount of tickets being sent to them daily, it is expected that they could take a few days (at most 72 hours) to answer you. I'm sorry for the experience you had with Minecraft and the account migration procedure.

    I send them a question yesterday and another one today.

    No reply yet and i do not get to play minecraft with my kid again today.

    What is there to expect from a company that managed to do such an awful job at a simple account move.

    Given that you most likely were playing Minecraft Java previously, it could be that you have downloaded the Xbox app/Microsoft Store Minecraft Launcher, which could be causing issues for you. To fix this, go to https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download and download the Minecraft Launcher for your Operating System, and then sign in with the account that you've migrated your Mojang account to.
