Minecraft realms ps4 not working

On minecraft bedrock ps4, i am trying to join my friends realm on xbox and when you click on the realm or any server for that matter, it says "connecting to the server..." and then nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, signed out and restarted dozens of times. It worked prior to this most recent update and now it does not. Any help would be appreciated

Hi there,

Mojang seems to have fixed this issue as of the evening of December 10th. I restarted my PS5 and the Minecraft app that evening, and realms was finally working for me again. You should be good to go. If you still have the same problem, let me know.

Im having the same problem no answer anywhere. I can log in on my phone and get on the realm but cant hop on the realm on my ps4

I’m having this exact problem. Joining the realm has never been an issue up until the very most recent update. I’m even able to join the realm from my same account from my laptop, but not on PS5. I’m sure there’s some type of bug as of right now. Hope there is an update to fix it, it’s only an issue on PlayStation
