    Minecraft Realm charged me but won't let me access it


    Hello.

    I recently purchased a Minecraft realm to play with a friend on Java edition. I have played Minecraft since long before the migration, as well as after the migration on public servers like Hypixel.

    However, shortly after I purchased my Minecraft Realm, I was given this error in the launcher: "Realms request failed. This could be caused by general network issues or a system failure. Please check your network and try again." I'm positive it's not a network issue.

    I click on the "Manage Realms" section inside the launcher to see if I can access it. There, it takes me to https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/msaprofile/myrealms, where I noticed that although I was signed in on my Microsoft account, it's prompting me to buy Minecraft as if I've never bought it before. I can't access any settings or it won't even acknowledge that my realm exists, only that I need to download the launcher and buy Minecraft.

    Furthermore, when I go to my actual Microsoft account settings and check my standing Xbox purchases, it shows the Realm as an active subscription, able to cancel.

    Any help?

    I'm sorry to hear about the unexpected charge. In order to know that you have been charged on free trail by following the next steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account website and sign In or Create Your Account Today.
    2. Sign in with your account.
    3. Choose Order History.
    If you can see the charges with 8.47$ on your Order History, then I recommend reaching Xbox Support for help and they will be able to assist.

    I can't find any transaction for it on my accounts but I obviously bought the game years ago before it was migrated otherwise I wouldn't be able to play, and I had a realm subscription a few years ago that is expired, I just want to be able to play my old realm. It feels like every time I try to play minecraft on PC there's so many issues these days, puts me off wanting to play again.

    Thank you for your response. I totally understand where you are coming from with these in-game errors as I'm a gamer myself.

    It seems the only best option is to have you contact Mojang as they can possibly locate the Microsoft account where your Minecraft account was migrated from their server database.

    It might be possible that the Microsoft account that you were using to renew your realms subscription was different from the one that was migrated to your Minecraft account.

    To confirm this kindly locate your order transactions for your Minecraft game and your previous realm subscription history on your Microsoft account by signing on to account.microsoft.com > Payment and Billing > Order History.

    As for the realm subscription: On account.microsoft.com > go to Services and Subscription.

    If you are unable to find the Minecraft game transaction and your realm subscription history under the Order History and Services and Subscription tabs, try to find it on your other Microsoft accounts.

    If you have managed to find the Minecraft transactions on the Microsoft account, use the same account to renew your realms subscription.
