Minecraft purchase x 2 w10 version (not Java)

Sorry to hear it. You're going to need to try and request a refund on the purchases at https://xbox.com/refund (make sure you request a refund for both items). It may be best to use the form located here https://support.xbox.com/forms/request-a-refund and be sure to enter the order info for BOTH purchases. Once that's done you can go back to the Store website to buy the games https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/shop/games?q=minecraft

Right underneath the BUY option you should see a link to Buy as a gift.

Unfortunately, they are 2 different versions of Minecraft so you would need to purchase the W10 version of Minecraft to play it on PC.

As previously noted. Microsoft owns Minecraft, however Minecraft Java is not a Microsoft or Xbox game. The PC equivalent is “Minecraft Windows 10 edition” the Java version is a separate game not part of Minecraft bedrock, their-for not cross play with other devices.

Xbox owns W10 edition not Java edition

If you don't have any NAT errors it could possibly be gold. I think the W10 version is the only other version where you need gold to play it as opposed to the Java version that's more readily played by people on PC because its through the Minecraft Launcher
where the W10 version is not.

If you have Minecraft for Windows 10, and you’re trying to purchase Java under the account that has Minecraft W10, then I believe it will not let you purchase it since it’s free.

However, if that’s not the case:

1. Remove full cart

2. Log out, log in

3. Try finding Java directly and see if it’s available for purchase.

(You may find that removing all payment methods may help the process)
