Are you positive that you purchased Minecraft: Java Edition through Mojang using a Microsoft account and not a Mojang account?

Is Minecraft: Java Edition the only version of Minecraft that you own?

How are you trying to load the game? Are you using the Minecraft Launcher through the Xbox app or another method?

Have you followed the Mojang account to Microsoft account migration steps? You can find those here: How to Migrate Your Mojang Account to a Microsoft Account – Home (minecraft.net)

I would verify that your purchase was successful by searching for a confirmation email in the inbox of the account you used to make the purchase.

You would need to
contact the official supportto check if the offer for getting Minecraft 10 from your Java purchase is still valid.

It might be that the offer to upgrade to Windows 10 has ended.

Question, Have you purchased Minecraft on Xbox 360 and connected it to your profile? Also have you tried to Actually purchase Minecraft Xbox One Edition? You should take a look at this post:

Some games offer a free upgrade or reduced price to upgrade to the Xbox One but for the most part they use different programming so are not compatible.

Free Upgrade Games:

Destiny (until Jan 15)

CoD Advanced Warfare (I believe until March)

Free upgrades for already purchased DLC

Rocksmith

Pinball FX2

Reduced price for upgrade

But that would only be for the console, not for Windows 10. That was the upgrade from the Minecraft Xbox One Edition to what is now just Minecraft. Minecraft for Windows 10 would be a separate purchase.
