    i bought Minecraft for Windows 10 Starter Collection for my daughter but used my email and log in. she now has her own laptop and microsoft account. can i 'transfer' to her or what are the options as says she doesn't own it when she does but was just using my log on. are there any work arounds?

    Hi ShelleyFrost2, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    I apologize but there is no option to transfer a game license, if the game was purchased under your account she needs to use your Microsoft account on the Microsoft Store and whilst playing the game.

    If the game was just purchased within 14 days, you can request a refund by signing in to https://xbox.com/refunds using the account where the game was purchased.

    Does this only happen with Minecraft? Have you attempted to purchase anything else on the regular Store on the console? Have you tried purchasing from the MS store website and encounter the same thing?
    Only in minecraft, tried to purchase different things on the regular store and a different game that has ingame purchases and the prompt to select the payment and confirm it pulls up immediately, so those all work. Have not tried the MS website however,
    seems to be only from the microtransaction marketplace in minecraft

    A little clarity, are you having issues with content packs from the Minecraft store or non official mods?

    If the issue is with content purchased from the Minecraft store do both you and your friend have the same content packs?

    Hi Chris, I do not see any of the games I purchase in my order history in the link you provided. I bought minecraft store content. I bought world templates through the minecraft store. All the worlds that were created with those templates are still showing
    in the minecraft game but those worlds are locked now and the minecraft store is showing that I need to "re" buy the templates I purchased over the last couple of years. Although I do not see the games in the link to my Microsoft Account I do see where I purchased
    minecraft coins through Nintendo for the purchase of Minecraft Store items. I am not sure where to go from here.
