Minecraft PS4 / Switch

Could anyone help please?

Bought my son a PS4 and he spends the majority of his playing time on Minecraft. Was not aware that Mario and Pokemon not compatible. So my question is:

- If we purchased a Nintendo Switch, can we access / transfer his worlds that he has made on the PS4? We have purchased the microsoft accountbto enable cross play, although we often have error messages with it and it takes a while to sort out.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Unfortunately there's no way to link or transfer the game to his account. There's no way to play together with that set up. Sorry about this

Hi there - I believe this is possible with Realms, but I think it's a one-way ticket (so if they were to make changes on the newly-transferred world, they wouldn't reflect on the world back on PS4 for example).

But i owned the original version of minecraft on ps4 but when i switched to xbox i didnt have it anymore
