Minecraft PS4 "Oops this account is already connected" error, how to fix?

Hi,

I bought Minecraft for PS4 a few months ago, tried to log in with my account but it says it is already linked?

I've never used my account with my PS4 before, and just want sync progression and server access like Hypixel.

Yet looking at the Xbox app it says I'm currently playing "Minecraft for PlayStation"?

Help would be appreciated.

Hi, the issue here is I’m using an account I’ve never used before and Xbox app itself says I’m playing Minecraft for PlayStation.

So it appears it signs in and then signs out shortly after, after some research this is an ongoing issue for over 2 years. I’ve tried nuking my save file and everything to no avail.

Thank you so much for the detailed information your account may have been linked to a different PlayStation account. But in this case, you may need to reach out to Mojang as they will be able to check your in-game account.

This depends with the error. Can you please let me know the exact message prompt? It can be the Playstation account is already linked on a different Microsoft account or the Microsoft account is already linked on a Playstation account.

If anyone is having the "Oops! It looks like this account is already connected." error. The best way I did it was to delete the Microsoft account and then go back to the PlayStation 4 Minecraft to get the code again. then you repeat and you will get
your account back.

When you mean by delete your account do you mean online deleting the actual account or on ps4 deleting it from the network

I have to full error msg now, I'm able to login to Microsoft on any other device but not PS4 for some reason,

"Oops! Looks like the Microsoft account you are trying to use is already connected to another account on the "PlayStation Network"

Please sign in with a Microsoft account that is not already linked on

"PlayStation Network""

Is the error msg, I can't login with another because this is my only Microsoft account and idk how to logout with this one on playstation without knowing where it is logged into.
