Minecraft PS4 Buy again bug

I was trying to load up Minecraft on my PS4 when I was stuck on the Mojang screen until the game would crash. To try and fix this, I had my files saved, then deleted the game off of my system and reinstalled it in hopes of fixing the issue. It did work, but another one arose.

When I looked at the menu screen, I noticed that the "Editions" button had been replaced with "Buy the full game". I closed the game and opened it again to find that the button stayed. I loaded up my survival world to find a counter in the top right saying 00:00 and a notification box that said I had to buy the full version of the game to continue.

I think the issue is that the game thinks I am on a demo version, and I cannot just go to the normal version as I had originally bought the game when it was called "Minecraft: Playstation 4 Edition", and you can no longer buy 1 version of the game and also get the other. I don't think it is fair for me to pay another £20 for Minecraft as I already had the Bedrock version of the game prior to deleting it momentarily off of my system.

Hi there. This is a common issue on the Xbox One as well. Often you will just have to wait until the game eventually launches or restart until it does. It does take a long time to launch either way. We will just have to wait for Mojang to push out an update.
