    Minecraft PS4 and Switch crossplay issue


    I am currently unable to play Minecraft online from my ps4 with my friend on switch. When I try to join them, I am hit with an infinite loading screen displaying "locating server" and when they try to join me, the connection times out before they can.
    Potential fixes or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Connection timeouts can be internet signal related, have you & your friend tried checking your speeds and/or NAT type? Sometimes people with conflicting NAT types cant join each other.

    Crossplay with the PS4 for Minecraft started in December.

    Logging in on ps4

    Ps4 received the Bedrock version of Minecraft, meaning it is crossplay enabled now. However you need to have a Microsoft account to be able to play with your friends on other platforms.

    There is some issues with the linking/signing in of accounts on PS4.
