Minecraft preview friends multiplayer worlds

Make sure you are doing the following:

Minecraft (Bedrock) supports the following multiplayer options:

• Locally hosted multiplayer world via LAN or Xbox Live
• Realms
• Servers (unofficial, third party server software)

Locally hosted multiplayer world via LAN or Xbox Live

Any world can be a locally hosted multiplayer world, and accessible to other
Minecraft players.

To start, create new world or load an existing one. Then, select World Settings (pencil icon) →
Multiplayer → Multiplayer Game. If all players are on the same local network, you may also toggle on
Visible to LAN Players.

Other player(s) can join the world by navigating to the Friends tab and selecting the world.

Did it work before with that particular friend?

Has your friend set up the world to allow multiplayer?

On what device is your friend playing? PC, Xbox, something else? What version is that Minecraft game of your friend?

• Open the Minecraft Preview version on your Xbox Series X and go to the world you want to transfer.
  
• Click on the "Edit" button next to the world you want to transfer.
  
• Click on the "Game" tab and then click on "Export World" to save the world to your device.
  
• Once the world is exported, open the default Minecraft Bedrock version on your Xbox Series X.
  
• Click on "Play" and then click on "Create New."
  
• Name your new world and click on "Create."
  
• In the new world, go to "Settings" and then click on "Storage."
  
• Click on "Import" and select the world file you exported earlier from the Minecraft Preview version.
  
• Wait for the world to import, and then click on "Play" to start playing the world in the default Minecraft Bedrock version.
  
• Now, you need to upload your world to a Realm, which is an online server that lets you play with your friends across different devices.
  
• You can get a free trial of Realm for 30 days if you don't have one already.
  
• To upload your world to a Realm, go to the world settings and click on "Replace World."
  
• Choose the world you want to upload and wait for the process to complete.
  
• Once your world is uploaded, open the Minecraft Preview version on your PC.
  
• Click on "Play" and then click on the pen icon next to your Realm from the Realms list.
  
• Click on "Download World" and wait for the download to finish.
  
• Click on "Let's go!" to start playing your world in the Minecraft Preview version on your PC.

If you create a world in Minecraft you could choose on the multiplayer part if it should be open, just Friends or disable it. You don´t need a code to do that...

Make sure you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Most multiplayer games on Xbox require an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online with others.

Start the game you want to play multiplayer in.

Look for an option in the game's main menu or settings that allows you to select multiplayer mode or join an online game.

If prompted, sign in to your Xbox Live account.

Follow the on-screen instructions to join a multiplayer game or create a party with friends.

Once you are in a multiplayer game, you can invite friends to join you or join a game with random players.

Enjoy playing with others online in multiplayer mode.
