Minecraft post migration

Please check your Order history to confirm that the game was successfully purchased under your account!

If it is, try to add a NEW account, and link it to your Microsoft account.

On the login prompt in the java launcher, go back. You'll see the Mojang account you had been signing into - ignore it, and add a new account to the launcher. Using the email address associated with the Microsoft account you just migrated to, sign in with the email address and password of your Microsoft account.

Got it, mate. But unfortunately, any matter that involves your data or access to your data I can't help you. I hope the Mojang team will help you as soon as possible.

While this would be great to use, it wants a transaction ID, which I no longer have. The oldest email I have from mojang is from 2018 due to my inbox being overfull and having to delete old emails.

You have hit the button to go back to the accounts page. But then, don't click on your existing account that you want to sign into or you will just get back into the same problem loop that won't let you sign in. You have to add a new account. It is counterintuitive because you are not actually setting up a new account. But once you click to add a new account you can choose to sign in with your Microsoft account in the Launcher. Once you do that, it will automatically use the Microsoft account to log you in from the Launcher.

I've owned this game for upwards of 5 years, and migrated to a microsoft account. It no longer allows me to use my mojang account to log into minecraft.net, instead forcing me to use the mojang account.
