    Minecraft PE not signing in to Microsoft account on Tablet


    My additional needs son is an avid minecraft player and has always played on a tablet device to allow him to take his game with him. Since the last minecraft update we have been unable to sign into his microsoft account so he unable to access any of his
    worlds and skins he has paid for.

    The app downloads and loads up fine and if you play without signing in it works fine. However as soon as you press to sign in with the microsoft account it will say connecting and then the app will close. I have noticed that if I go through the same steps on
    my phone it redirects me to the website to sign in, it is possible the tablet is blocking this from happening?

    We have a very sad little boy and would appreciate any guidance we can get.

    You are playing Minecraft PE on Android or iOS?

    Also please try to sign in to the Microsoft website with this account to see if you are able to sign in to it.

    Hi there Rachael,

    Thanks for confirming that it is the Minecraft: Pocket Edition on an Android tablet that is giving you the error message concerning ownership of that version of the game, rather than the Xbox One edition of the game. Minecraft: PE is available on Android
    devices via the GooglePlay Store for purchase. Once it is opened to be played, it would request that you log in with your Microsoft/Xbox account so that the same Gamertag and Xbox Live Gold subscription information would be enacted.

    You may wish to doublecheck your purchase in the Google Play Store for Minecraft: PE to ensure that it is still listed as yours on your dedicated tablet. If it is listed as purchased, then you'd need to reach out to Mojang for further assistance for the
    licensing of the game.
