    Minecraft PE changing Xbox Live GT glitch?


    About 2 days ago, a friend and I were playing Minecraft (both on Xbox One) and my brother wanted to join our world (he was on mobile though).

    Before joining, he set his Minecraft username in the settings freely, and then signed into our Xbox Live account (the same one I was using). Upon seeing the successful sign-in screen, it showed our account, but with the username he put in for Minecraft instead of our actual gamertag.

    At the time, my GT in game was still the same, so I didn't think much of it. Unfortunately, today I see that every platform with our GT has been replaced with that username my brother put in. Going to the gamertag change website, it tells us to pay, so we have no free GT change. Is this a glitch anyone has come across? And is it possible for me to contact support to get this issue fixed/revert the gamertag?

    Well, it seems that your brother sign in your account and used your free gamertag change

    Minecraft PE uses Xbox Live gamertag, the only way to have a different username is with Java Edition

    Sadly once the free change was used is not possible to undo this change and support doesn't have the ability to revert it

    Hi!

    I think you need to allow storage permission for Minecraft PE:

    System settings > Apps > Select Minecraft > Go into permissions and allow storage permissions.
