Minecraft Pc launcher tells me I do not own minecraft

I am on a windows 8 laptop and have not had this issue before but this morning when I tried to open the game it tells me I do not own minecraft. I logged into the websites for mojang and Microsoft to see if there was some problem or issue with my account and saw none. I can provide screenshots of both accounts telling me I do in fact own minecraft and of the launcher screen when I try to launch the game. I am not sure what to do because I tried logging in with a different account and it worked totally fine. For some reason this 1 account now is not able to play the game because I apparently do not own it anymore. If anyone can help or suggest what I can do that would be much appreciated! Thanks

Has the migration from mojang to Microsoft account been done recently?

Or did you buy it directly from the Microsoft store?

Is your Windows profile from the account that purchased Minecraft?

keep the same account on xbox app and microsoft store for testing.

Same issue here, I own Minecraft Java Edition but I am unable to even access the page on the Microsoft Store to get the bedrock edition and the launcher just tells me incompatible with launcher

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I have searched Minecraft for Windows on the store and all it comes up with is "Minecraft for Windows Starter Collection" and "Minecraft for Windows + Launcher" I do not own the starter collection, as I am redirected to pay £25 pounds when I click on it, and the Minecraft for Windows + Launcher simply takes me to the launcher when i click play.

When I click buy from the Minecraft launcher it takes me to this website https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition?ref=Launcher I'm not logged in and it has the option to purchase Minecraft but after logging in to the that website with same Microsoft account that I had logged into the Minecraft launcher with the purchase option is replaced with Already own Minecraft? Download it again. and the launcher download button.

I only have 1 Microsoft account, when I try to log in with my Mojang account, it tells me to use my Microsoft account that I migrated to. Minecraft net shows my Minecraft player name correctly with my Microsoft account below. The website also tells me to download it because I already own it. After downloading it, the launcher tells me to buy it, that's the problem here. The new, recommended launcher also has a message on the bottom saying: ''Oh no! Something went wrong and we couldn't connect to Minecraft services''. Clicking ''try again'' does nothing.
