Minecraft Parental Control Settings

I don’t know what else to do/where to post this. I need to change my xbox settings but can’t because my account isn’t a parent account. I’m 16 and need to be 18 in order to chnage my settings.

You think it has to do with the parental controls? We've not intentionally set any that would cause this issue. Which options in the parental controls would be allowing her to play the Minecraft demo but not the full version?

u might wanna get ur parent to change the setting in parental setting on their account. support.xbox.com/.../parental-control-info

 

The parent account is the only account that can change your settings, or allow you to change them. There are no other ways to bypass those restrictions.

 

Ask your parents that have an adult Microsoft Account to add your child/teen account to their family in
Microsoft account | Your family

After that, your parent needs to go to
https://account.xbox.com/settings and be signed in with their adult parent account.

On that page they should now also see your account. They have to click on that account and make the changes to your account's online and privacy settings then.

As stated above, there is no work around for
managing child privacy settings. The adult account would have to do that for the child account until that account graduates to adult naturally.
