    I have seen another question similar to this however I never had the Game Pass. I have owned Minecraft Java Edition since before Microsoft aquired Mojang and have been playing it long since. I was literally on it about 6 weeks ago and had no issues. I pay for a spigot server to be hosted by a 3rd party service provider too. Today I tried to go onto my server but the Minecraft Launcher says I need to rebuy the game. I have already tried logging out of the store, the Minecraft launcher, and Microsoft on my web browser. Then I restarted my PC and logged back in to the Microsoft store, the Minecraft launcher and the web browser (This was the advice given in a previous post). Minecraft was still not appearing as an owned software and I was prompted to buy it again. Please give me my copy of Minecraft back

    Please confirm if you have the Minecraft game license by signing your account to account.microsoft.com > go to Payment and Billing > go to Order History > then from there, find the Minecraft game purchase.

    If the Minecraft game license can't be found there, which means it was purchased on a different account.

    Kindly try to sign in to your other email addresses on account.microsoft.com and try to find the Minecraft game license under the Order History.

    Hello? I have this same problem. Wondering if you could do the same for me? My laptop has been offline as I didnt use it for much since September. Then booted it up and played on some old worlds and on my modded worlds as well through technic launcer. Today when i finally used WiFi I was told I dont own the game and it reverted to the demo version. In %AppData% folder on my laptop there are still the worlds in the saves folder. even technic launcher will not accept my login.

    Could you contact mojang on my behalf? let me know if you need any more information.

    I do not have a receipt for Minecraft Java Edition on my Microsoft account because I bought it through the Mojang store before the Microsoft/Mojang account integration that happened a few years ago. Thus, my Microsoft account doesn't have a receipt for it because I didn't buy it through Microsoft. I can give my Minecraft username as evidence that I had a copy of Java Edition but besides that I have no other evidence. Now that my Mojang account has been migrated to Microsoft, I can't log in to it to prove I own a copy of Java Edition.

    The next best option you have to make sure you can locate your Minecraft game license on your account is to have you the game developer Mojang as they have all the tools to check their server database for your game license on your account.
