    Minecraft only stutters during splitscreen


    I play Minecraft on my Xbox One S single player on the highest grafic and rendering settings with no problem but when I play split screen it keeps stuttering rendering the game unplayable even on the lowest grafics and rendering settings.

    The console is not "struggling to perform" because i can play games that demand a lot more from it on splitscreen like COD MW .

    How can I fix this and why is it happening ?

    Hello,

    You can only play Minecraft in splitscreen if you have an HDTV (High Definition TV). A standard definition TV will not let you play Minecraft in splitscreen. It's unfortunately not possible.

    For splitscreen in Minecraft you need a HDTV with a resolution of 720p or higher.

    Hi there, if you both want to play Minecraft on one console you will only have the option to play splitscreen.

    Also please make sure you have a HDTV and the Xbox display settings are configured correctly as splitscreen requires a screen with an output of 720p or higher, the Xbox 360's video output needs to be configured accordingly. The video mode can be checked
    by going to Settings > System > Console Settings > Display - Make sure this is set to 720p or higher.

    it's 8-bit :p Doesn't mean it's old, And seems kinda stupid, Im 14 and i know every splitscreen game and yet minecraft was the only game i had trouble with
