Minecraft online randomly not working on console only

I now have two separate user ids on my family account that have been prevented from playing Minecraft on console only. All settings have been checked and there is nothing that should be preventing them from playing. They never had an issue before recently and I can not figure out what is preventing them from accessing their Minecraft accounts through console? They are able to access through tablets and a Nintendo switch no problem.

I have cleared all restrictions and I have tried on different xbox consoles. Have removed from family group. One ID just started doing it this week. Only on Xbox. Every other option that is used works. All other multiplayer games work. Minecraft is the only one that is restricting multiplayer access.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

If all settings are set up correctly this may mean that the issue is with the Xbox Live Gold subscription. Do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription? Because playing an online multiplayer game such as Minecraft is required.

You can check it here:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

That's perfect. Kindly sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings, and then check this screenshot "block" the setting that has an arrow and then submit, after that "allow" them again and submit.

Also, make sure that you're managing the setting for your account. Once done, perform a powercycle on your console.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

All other games show no issues. Call of duty over watch Fortnite Star Wars.
