^^ I'm trying to find a link, but the expiration date of the upgrade deal is one year after release. So, September 5th, 2015.

Also, the 24-48 hours is for those people who are just playing Minecraft on the 360 for the first time, and immediately tried to get the $4.99 deal. There have been a few that have posted here about that, once they waited a day or two, the deal showed up.

Lastly, how do you own "multiple digital copies"??? You have one gamertag that purchased Minecraft, how hard could it have been to merely look through your billing history for Minecraft?!

Excellent news I will be grabbing as soon as it releases. I should have an Xbox One by then and it will be something to play with my Minecraft crazy Girlfriend

 

hopefully there'll be no time limit on the deal, i have no idea when i might buy one of the new consoles...

 

Is there any word on how big the world sizes are going to be in comparison?

 

On twitter they mentioned that the worlds are going 36 times larger than the 360/ps3 versions

* just re-read the tweet, they're trying out a world size that's 36 times larger so I guess nothing solid is confirmed yet

 

^ yeah, the only solid official declaration of world size is "significantly" bigger...i kinda feel like current world size is fine enough for what i do in it, 36x is gonna be insane. good luck trying to clear the map, even when flying in creative it was
a bit of a pain covering the whole map...i wonder how big the pixels will be on the map, or how big you have to make something before it'll show up on the map.

 

I'm with those wondering how long this upgrade price will be in effect. No plans to get an X1 anytime soon, but that'll be in the kid's requests for games on the X1

Amazing that you guys are excited to pay an additional 5 bucks for a game you already own and were already shafted on. What happened to the big promises they had for the 360 version? Don't expect much from this Xbone port either. They even said some of the
skins you were charged for won't transfer over, for no apparent reason other than charging again. Who wants to bet it just happens to be really popular xbox brand skins?

 

I got the game for the 360 and will get it for the ONE, For achievement sakes.
