Minecraft on Xbox Series S is still overheating deep into 2025. What do I do now?

So basically Minecraft on my Xbox Series S has had overheating problems for almost 2 years now. I've tried everything from allowing my Xbox more breathing room, tinkering with different settings, (resolution, storage). Nothing has worked. It's weird as all of my other games work fine, but Minecraft specifically overheats. It is at a point where I am considering buying a new Xbox, but I want to know if there is anything I can do to fix this? This is a latch ditch attempt. Anyone have any solutions or fixes?

Ok so only certain games will have ray tracing? Do you know if any games that were on the xbox one will be capable of it on the series s/x? Also I’ve seen videos showing the series X’s ray tracing abilities and they used minecraft as an example. Do you now
if this is real and if minecraft will support ray tracing or is this unconfirmed?

One of the main reasons I plan on buying one of the new consoles is for the ray tracing abilities (especially on minecraft)

Yea, my Xbox One S thought my display was only 1080p and it even said it was not capable of 60hz. Then I turned on Deep Color mode and it now accepts it as a 4k display and 60hz. What does color have to do with Resolution and Frames Per Second?

My nVidia GTX970 does not require Deep Color to use 4k or run at 60hz. It seems to be some crazy Xbox thing. I wish an engineer would come on and explain this.

I tried what you said to do but it still says I don't own the game. Is this because I bought the xbox one version and not the series X/S version?
