Minecraft on Xbox says multiplayer disabled, but Xbox settings allow multiplayer.

This may also happen if you don't have an Xbox Game Pass Core (formerly known as Xbox Live Gold) which is required to play any paid online multiplayer game such as Minecraft. You can also have any Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Please check by following the steps below:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

Once confirmed that you have one, You can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone”:

* You can join cross-network play

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

Hello. When i hover over where it says multiplayer in the minecraft main menu it says “multiplayer is disabled, please check your Minecraft account settings.” Which I also have done. I bought the Java edition for windows.

I don’t remember what options I changed because I just say everything on allow and adult default.

Exactly the same problem here. profile is set to teen, allowed to play online multiplayer but when he tries to play online Minecraft Xbox One Edition he gets an Xbox notification saying he cannot due to his settings.
