Minecraft on Nintendo Switch- Error Code: Drowned

This is not the first time I've signed into my Microsoft account for minecraft or Nintendo switch. I have tried multiple wifi connections, and the only error code it gives me is error code 500 and says xbox live cannot complete this request. I am able to log into my Microsoft account on the regular Microsoft website, just doesn't work for the website to connect it to my minecraft for nintendo switch

The reason we recommend Nintendo support is because the game is crashing on the Nintendo switch with a switch specific error code. We only have steps for games crashing on Xbox or Windows 10 devices.

I highly recommend trying the Minecraft support site again, or the Minecraft forumsif you haven't already.

Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum, I apologize for a delay in response.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the error code Drowned. According to Minecraft Help, "The Drowned error is a sign-in issue associated with your Microsoft account. Even though you’re already in the game, you may not be able to access or connect to some services."

First, please try to make sure that your game is on the latest update. You can also try to change your password and see if it will help.

If the issue will persist, please try to connect to a different network. You can connect your Switch to a hotspot then try to sign in your Microsoft account in-game and see if the error will still occur.
