Minecraft on MacOS with Gamepass Account

Try downloading Minecraft Launcher on ONLY MICROSOFT STORE on your friend's or family member windows desktop/laptop using your account. 2nd Sign in the account that you own the gamepass to the minecraft java. The game will verify that you own the gamepass then you're processed when it says "play with gamepass" than the demo version. Final step is to download minecraft launcher on your MacOS from minecraft(dot)net/download then download the MacOS version and after downloaded you sign in with gamepass account then you're done.

I'm saying to download from MS store on your friend's or family's windows pc is because the MS store version will actually validate your gamepass than the minecraft.net version. After you've validate on your windows you can go to your Mac and download from minecraft.net/download for macOS then sign in the account that you own the gamepass.

Every version of Minecraft is its own ourchase. The MacOS version, nor any others besides Windows and Xbox are included with GP

For macOS, you can't use the Launcher for Windows (and probably not 3rd party ones either), but using the previous Unified Launcher from minecraft.net/download and then logging in with the Microsoft account that has GamePass Ultimate/PC does allow you to play. Or is intended to, anyway - worked for me just an hour ago on a mac laptop, which is why I asked the OP if it was still working without the Optifine mod (since they also posted an image showing it as included with GamePass initially on an unmodded version).

Does it work when you are not using Optifine?
