Minecraft not loading past Mojang Studios scree

So yesterday i updated my minecraft to 1.18 and when i first started playing it, everything was fine, but the next day when i opened it, it wasnt going past a specific screen, the image below is the problem. It keeps buffering, its been 2 hours now and it still hasnt loaded. Please help.

Disconnect the device from the Internet and see if it loads offline. If it doesn't, Open Powershell in admin mode and paste the following, which I believe reinstalls the default apps on Windows 10.

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

Restart your PC and check again.

I have a receipt for Mojang Studios' order for Minecraft Java. Do I have to log on to a Mojang account or does my Microsoft Account suffice?

4J Studios is the team who brought Minecraft to the Xbox 360, Mojang is in control of the PC so going to Mojang can't exactly help out with the Xbox version.
