    Minecraft not letting me host/join other worlds


    Ever since last week my Minecraft Windows 10 Edition has been giving me the "Unable to connect to world" error message every time I try and join a friend's world, and giving the friends joining mine a "Connection timed out" error. This has been happening
    not only on my Xbox, but on my PC as well. The weird thing is it'll let me connect to servers via the server tab, but not worlds I'm invited to or join via the friends tab. I have no idea what could be causing it because I did nothing to my internet prior
    to this, so I have a feeling something might've happened to my account without warning. I've already tried removing and readding my friends to fix it with no results, I've already unplugged the router for 15-30 seconds, and I reinstalled the game to no avail.
    We're running the latest version so it couldn't be a missed update. What other problems could've caused this?

    "Connection to the server was lost" can't join or invite others. Every time.

    I can join anybodys minecraft game except for one friend. We cant join each others game and all my other friends can join me and him. He hosts most of our worlds so i have no purpose for this game until i can connect to him.

    Nope it's only minecraft. I can join others world but when I get on one of my worlds it wont let anyone else join.

    Minecraft Multiplayer on iPad

    One child hosts the multiplayer world the other child cannot join that world, while on the same WiFi network. A friend of the hosting child CAN join the world via internet connection from a totally different home. I've already verified they can join mutiplayer games via parental controls.

    Make sure you are doing the following:

    Multiplayer Options

    Minecraft (Bedrock) supports the following multiplayer options:

    • Locally hosted multiplayer world via LAN or Xbox Live
    • Realms
    • Servers (unofficial, third party server software)
    Locally hosted multiplayer world via LAN or Xbox Live

    Any world can be a locally hosted multiplayer world, and accessible to other
    Minecraft     players.

    To start, create new world or load an existing one. Then, select World Settings (pencil icon) →
    Multiplayer → Multiplayer Game. If all players are on the same local network, you may also toggle on
    Visible to LAN Players.

    Other player(s) can join the world by navigating to the Friends tab and selecting the world.

    Minecraft on xbox one freezing during gameplay.

    We experience a complete freeze. When the account that freezes is hosting the world in splitscreen, all players and the world freeze.

    When the account that freezes is the second player, not hosting the world, no one freezes.

    When the account that freezes is hosting a world on xbox, and I join on my PC, only the xbox player freezes. I do not freeze on my PC, and the world does not freeze.
