    Minecraft.net won't let me change skin or view profile name, and I can't find my account.


    This is probably not categorized correctly, as I didn't see any topics for "websites for microsoft products."

    1. Essentially, start from https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/msaprofile/mygames, and try to go to either https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/msaprofile/mygames/editskin or https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/msaprofile/mygames/editprofile.

    both of these will redirect back to the first one. I moved to a new device and was trying to figure out which of my emails had my account (of the same name) on it, and the one that i was confident had my account on it, will simply refuse to let me check my profile to check. The buttons are there, they take me to different pages, so why does it just redirect back to the first page!? This is incredibly frustrating, and I don't know how to sign into my account, or how to even verify what email it uses.

    2. Additionally, when I try to use the minecraft launcher, regardless of which of two emails i use, it tells me to enter a profile name. And my account's name is already taken. (there can't possibly be any other emails that would own my account apart from these two.) So how in the world do I sign into my account, and actually play this game?

    i had this issue with mine and i fixed it by like going to minecraft.net>my profile>my games> and there should be an option that says "change skin" and "profile name" u can confirm it there :)

    However, if you need to change your username after the migration, you can follow these steps

    Log in to minecraft.net.

    Click on the My Games section.

    Click where it says Minecraft: Java Edition, here you will be presented with two options to change the skin or change the name.

    Click Profile Name.

    You can now change your Java edition profile name
