    Minecraft Multiplayer & Realms Not Accessible


    Hello. A few hours ago, I bought Minecraft on my Microsoft account, installed the game and opened it, but when I opened it, the multiplayer and the realms options were grayed out & it told me I couldn't access them due to my Xbox privacy settings. I went and watched a tutorial, it told me to allow the option to join multiplayer games on my Xbox privacy settings which I did, and I also allowed everything else in that section as well. Another thing was that my account could be underage and my parental settings could have been blocking it, which I checked my birthdate on my account and it was over 18. I logged out and logged back in in every related website & app I could find to see if that would help (The Microsoft website, the Xbox app, Microsoft Store, The Minecraft Launcher...) and nothing worked. I was really excited to play online on Minecraft. Please help.

    Allow daughter to access Minecraft Realms

    Minecraft Realms uses "Clubs" for invitations / membership so you need to enable that for her to access them. Also you need to allow multiplayer games.

    Hi Hedcraber,

    Are you subscribed to access Minecraft Realm servers? You have to pay a separate subscription fee to access the Realms Servers.

    Also the age that was initially used when creating the Microsoft account and is tied to your Xbox profile cannot be changed. The age on the Microsoft account is just profile information. Accounts under the age of 13 have multiplayer disabled by default and
    would need a parent account to enable multiplayer.
