    Minecraft Multiplayer- pls help


    I don't recall having this issue since the last update, but out of nowhere it won't let me play with my friends. I tried to join their realm and it kept saying that because of how my account was set up it wouldn't let me do that? I don't understand what they mean. My friend suggested that maybe this was deemed as a child's account, but it has my full birthday and I'm not a little kid so??? I don't know how to fix it and maybe I just haven't looked in the right places, but I don't know what to do and I really want to play with my friend. God bless

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. I believe this must be due to your privacy settings, where yours probably don't allow you to play multiplayer games, so to change this please follow the instructions below.

    Visit the website: https://account.xbox.com/en-us/settings

    Make sure it is the correct account logged in.

    In the privacy tab check that the options, "You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text" and Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites" are set to allow.

    Also, check the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab, and see if the ''You can join multiplayer games'' option is set to allow.

    If your account is set up as a child account, you will need to follow the instructions below.

    If your account is a child/teenager you will have to ask an adult to create a Microsoft account and invite you to a family group so that person can manage your privacy settings. To create a family group, please use the information provided in the article below.

    - Once an adult creates an account and adds you to their family group, they should follow the instructions below.

    Visit the website: https://account.xbox.com/en-us/settings

    The adult must have his account logged in at the moment, and then he will see your profile and his her, he must change the settings of his profile, in the case of the child.

    Sorry, but when I checked, pretty much everything is set to allow. Would this be affected if my account was considered a child's? Because I don't understand. Everything is enabled and I've never had this issue before.
