i've already set all those to everyone/allow and i still can't join multiplayer

We appreciate your arrival in the Xbox community. From what you reported, apparently this happens because your account is considered a child/teen, and unfortunately it is not possible to change the age of the Xbox profile, you can change the Microsoft account, but the system will still consider the account as a minor.

However, we can try some things before going to Support:

1. On the privacy tab, verify that the options "You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice and text" and "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invitations" are set to allow.

2. Also, check the Online Security section of Xbox One/Windows 10. And see if the option ''You can join multiplayer games'' is set to allow.
