Minecraft Minecoins Refund

My son purchased 4 items using minecoins in the last 14 days. Because the account is shared by multiple people in the family, he is supposed to get permission before doing so. In this instance, he did not ask for permission. We would like to get a refund of those minecoins, if possible. Those downloads can be deleted from the account. Asking Microsoft support has lead nowhere so far. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Minecoins is the currency used to complete an in-game purchase in Minecraft and only the game developer has the access when it comes to any in-game transactions on the account.

To set your expectations properly, Minecoins that have already been spent in-game are generally non-refundable. Once they are used to purchase digital content, the transaction is considered final.

However, in this situation, since you only want to request a refund for the purchase of the world you made with Minecoins to get your Minecoins back, it will be necessary for you to contact Minecraft Support directly. They are the ones responsible for managing these in-game internal purchases with Minecoins and are also in charge of refunds for such purchases.

But I used a minecoins code for the minecoins, if I request a refund I'll get nothing because it was 0$

hi Ricardo, we purchased the Minecoin gift cards from Target - we've never had issues with these before though. they are Microsoft branded: "Minecraft Minecoins, 3500 In-Game Currency, Buy skins, textures, & worlds, Android | iOS | Nintendo Switch | Xbox One | Win 10, Minecraft Minecoins Pack - 3500 coins" we bought three separate cards and our Target receipt shows three distinct download codes on the receipt. we've never had this issue before. if we can't redeem them, we can't get his birthday money back as they are not refundable. : (

If you bought it through Marketplace then they must be a Marketplace partner. You might need to send feedback to Mojang directly by going here: https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/game-t... and click "Get help with Minecraft on different devices" and click "Submit a request".

However, there's no way to reverse minecoins once you purchased it on Marketplace thus, you can process a refund by going to xbox.com/refunds for the minecoins you bought and if it's not listed, you can use the refund form here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/forms/request-a-... to manually request a refund.
