Minecraft Minecoins not appearing after redeeming a code

If you purchased on your Windows 10 device:

1. Sign in at
   account.microsoft.com and check your recent purchases.
   
2. If you see a completed purchase, restart your device as it may need to be updated.
   
3. If you have another Windows 10 or Pocket Edition device, sign in on that device to see if your purchase appears there.
   • If the purchase appears, there may be a problem on your device. Make sure that you’re signed in with the same account used to complete the purchase.
     
   • If the purchase doesn’t appear, contact
     Xbox Support.

Additional support:

• If you purchased from Apple Store (iPhone or iPad), go to the
  iTunes Store.
• If you purchased from Google Play Store (Android), go to the
  Google Play Store.
• If you purchased from Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire TV, go to the
  Amazon Store.

Also, please make sure the correct account is signed in that completed the purchase.

Last year on february 9th, I redeemed a code for 700 Minecoins as it came with my retail copy of Minecraft and I still never got it.

If you received the code from Microsoft Rewards, you must redeem it through the following link:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem

Before redeeming it, please make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that you use on your Nintendo Switch for playing Minecraft.

Once you have redeemed your Minecoins code through the provided website, the Minecoins should appear in your Minecraft for Nintendo Switch. They will be available on any device from which you run the game using that same Microsoft account.

Are you able to play Minecraft with the disc you own? Is it currently in your Xbox as you purchased the Minecoins? If you can play the game, the minecoins should be in there.
