Minecraft... Microsoft account locked

Both my son and I play on our Nintendo switchs and I have had my Hotmail account forever...never been locked out...my son has a NEW account so that he can play...every time we turn off the screens to pause the game we are ultimately locked out of our Microsoft accounts... Minecraft/Xbox support points fingers at you...this is getting aggravating...we are able to unlock the accounts...but I mean come on...every time we shut off the screens we have to verify and log back in

Also if your Microsoft account already owns Minecraft does that means you don't have to migrate or you just can't migrate and let your account be locked

Then why do they let you skip that part then if it's that important. Plus, i'm 90% sure it doesn't tell you that the account will be locked after some days if you don't put a phone number, i did not see any warning for that when i got to the phone number part, and i usually always read everything i can see.
