Minecraft Microsoft Account Linkage

So I am trying to sync my Microsoft account to my playstation account so I can play Minecraft cross platform. However when clicking on the option presented to sign into the account, no matter whether I choose to use the QR code or the aka.ms/remoteconnect website I am able to successfully sign into my account but am brought to a blank page with the word "let's go". This does not link the account, clicking the green button doesn't do anything and reloading the website doesn't do anything. Attempting to login through the store ends on the same website. And this has been a problem for more then 48 hours so I don't think the website is glitching. I have no idea what to do and can make a new Microsoft account if necessary.

Please try:

A. Power cycle the console (the steps below are for Xbox consoles, but you can do something similar on your PS)

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

B. Try using a completely different Wi-Fi network
For this purpose you can share mobile data via Wi-Fi hotspot and connect the console in that way

C. Can be a bit odd but if you have two steps verification enabled for both Microsoft and PSN account, disable the protection temporarily and try again
**Enable it again no matter the result

D. Change the password for both Microsoft and PSN account

Please note that once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation™ Network account, it cannot be unlinked without loss of access to entitlements and Minecoins on other platforms.
