Minecraft menu interaction slow

The menus are loading really slow. It certainly takes longer going through the menus than before. Anybody else have this problem.

Severely slow menu selection

I had noticed the UI was slightly slower then the 360 version and realized you have to plug the xbox one directly into the wall since the power block has a built in surge protector. Most surge protectors I guess cut off a tiny bit of power (I don't know the correct term/explanation) which will make the console not work at it's full potential. Once I plugged it in directly into the wall, my UI ran smoother.Click to expand...

Hi,

I would recommend power cycling your console and seeing if this fixed your issue.

1. Hold the power button for 10 seconds

2. Wait 30 seconds

3. Power on your console

4. Try Minecraft again.

I just checked and it only loads slow the first time you browse through the the menus.

Hi Race! Sorry to hear about what happened. We will do our best here to sort this out.

What's your Xbox console model?
When did the issue start to occur?
Are you able to play your other games just fine without this narrator problem?

Also, aren't you able to even navigate through the Minecraft game settings?

To answer your questions I’m on an Xbox Series S. The issues started in late 2022 at some time but I wasn’t on the game rarely ever so I’m not quite sure. Every other game works perfectly it’s only Minecraft and the left stick works on the menu but I cannot use the A or Start buttons to actually select anything if that helps.

Got it. Because I wanted you to check the settings to turn the narrator off. Could you try to connect your controller using a USB cable instead and see if it works on Minecraft?
